Albert Pujols ties the game with his 698th home run

On Friday night, Albert Pujols blasted his 698th home run,

a two-run blast that tied the St. Louis Cardinals 

and Cincinnati Reds in the sixth inning

Pujols tied the game at 4-4

with his 19th home run of the season on a first-pitch slider

from Raynel Espinal that travelled 427 feet into the left-field seats.

On the lifetime list, Pujols is just behind Babe Ruth (714) 

and Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755) 

Pujols passed Ruth for second place

11 RBIs behind Aaron's 2,297. In 47 games since July 10 of his 22nd big league season
